CSA At High Street Level Crossing Removal

In order to create better connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists in High street, the Reservoir level crossing project started in early January.

This project is aiming to replace the level crossing with a rail bridge over High street. The project also involves the rebuilding of Reservoir train station.

The boom gates at this busy street are usually down for more than 20 minutes during the morning peak hours. By removing this level crossing, the congestion will reduce and the safety for 36,000 vehicles that travel through the level crossing each day will improve significantly.

CSA Specialised Services was engaged in this massive project by John Holland in mid-January. We have used the most technically advanced equipment and all our expertise to get the job done up to highest standard over the past few weeks. Our coordination leaded to minimise disruption, maximise benefit and deliver value for money. Our contribution to this project will deliver significant safety improvements for drivers and pedestrians in High street, Reservoir.
